In the 1950s

The adventure of Antonino Malaguti started in the 30s as a bicycle manufacturer in a small factory with 15 employees. Very soon the Malaguti two-wheelers started sponsoring famous bike champions. At that time Malaguti strengthened its brand name with quality, inventions and avant-garde technologies. After the second world war, Malaguti started manufacturing mopeds, the original core business of the company. The Mosquito engine marked the change of times, from bicycles to motorbikes. The "Mosquito" was assembled on a special lightweight frame with integrated tank. Then the "Express", named after its German engine, made the Malaguti brand name famous on the Italian market.
